I am a recent low brass graduate of Louisiana State University and successfully student taught a middle school that played grade 3-4 caliber literature. Aside from the cmea/calmusiced website, are there other resources I can use to inquire about employment in the state? Thanks for the help.

Check out Edjoin.org and even craigslist for starters. That's where most school's wind up posting positions. I'm not entirely sure how the job market looks Bay Area wide right now, but once the state budget gets set, I would imagine that there will be a few opening available.
