SAB Rep 2 Months ago
I'm looking for some festival-appropriate rep in SAB for next year. I have one to recommend - "Dreams of Thee" poem by Percy Biss-Shelly. It has an optional violin part and is an amazingly beautiful piece. If anyone knows any more they'd like to recommend, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks, Bruce Haines

A few that I have liked in the past few years are:
Some are SAB, and some are 3 pt. mixed

Shoshone Love Song - Roger Emerson
And the Night Shall Be Filled with Music - Greg Gilpin (it says SATB but they only split into 4 for a few measures)
Shout Glory - Linda Spevacek (spiritual-esque)
Blessing - Katie Moran Bart (just pretty, Irish blessing text)
Ticket to the Kingdom - Donald Moore (spiritual)

I recommend "Duond Akuru" by Rollo Dillworth. I've done it for CMEA Choral Festival. The kids really like it and it's challenging but accessible.

Thanks for starting this thread....it's a really good one!
