How do you handle sign ups for your Jazz Band? Are students required to sign up for concert band groups as well, or is it optional?
At SOTA, students are required to participate in both activites and they have time built into the schedule to accommodate this. But in this age of AP Tests, sports conflicts etc. it can be understandably hard to even fill a small big band at many schools.
Anyone have a take on this?
