Yes, my district had to trim 3.5 million from the budget, and we only have 10 schools. We're losing 3 teachers, which of course will spread our classroom teachers around to even more schools. The district also approved cuts for music K-3 and 5th grade band. After all is said and done, the band will return and some of the 2-3 classroom music.
Hang in there! Any good advocacy ideas out there?
