Meet some interesting guitarists. These are people of all ages, occupations, and different types of musical training and experiences. Yet they all have one thing in common: a love for playing the guitar and a dedication to developing its performance practice. Check out what these people have to say and show you about the guitar.

Jerry SnyderJerry Snyder. An author of many popular methods and books for the guitar, Jerry was responsible for developing and teaching group guitar classes in the San Jose public schools. But best of all, he still is a member of CMEA Bay Section.

Michael LawsonMichael Lawson. He parlayed a career as a touring and nightclub guitarist into some interesting jobs in the music industry. He currently is the General Manager of Mix Bookshelf, a publishing company devoted to producing information resources for music professionals and educators.

Ricardo Peixoto. A San Francisco-based free-lance guitarist, producer, and song writer whose fusion style of music combines the traditions of Brazil with American jazz and popular styles.

Daniel Roest. A teacher and performer of classical guitar and the president of the South Bay Guitar Society.
